Macnut Farms

Mac Daddy

macnut MacNuts is a stunning orchard and cafe in Helensville, northwest of Auckland. The MacNut scientists have put together ‘MacMeal’ which is gluten, flour and starch free, and advantageous for those on low-calorie diets. It’s simply ground nuts that can be used in all manner of baking, cooking, and as a flour replacement.

Macadamia nuts are high in protein, natural oils, and essential vitamins and minerals. They contain no cholesterol and of all the nuts, the highest monounsaturated fat (the good kind).

MacNut is the largest New Zealand orchard. The nuts are sold in-shell, in foil bags for storage, chocolate-covered, in pouches in a range of sizes. They make a range of natural macadamia oil skincare products, and also an oil which is great for pan-cooking or as a salad dressing.

Head out to the cafe to soak in the setting and sample the homemade macadamia nut cakes and ice cream.
